Getting closer to saying goodbye to April. It was a beautiful day again, a great day for a walk. So Ted and I took one. Not a long one, but it's a start.
I had ladies Bible Study this morning, so I was up and out the door by 7:15. We always have a good and encouraging study. I love that it's a mix of young (30-40) and old (myself and a couple others) :) We get different perspectives.
After that I had a few errands to run, and then picked up lunch to eat on the way home. I was home around 1, and took Teddy for that walk I mentioned. I spent the afternoon playing with some stamps (got my Stampin'Up order) and put together a cart we'd picked up at Sam's Club.
I talked to Wendy on the way home, she's doing good she said, just a little sore. She had a same day surgery yesterday, to repair a couple small hernias, and the doctor said they removed her appendix right away, too. Something she didn't realize she had, but had noticed a twinge here and there. There was some nausea from the anesthetic, which she always has to deal with. Hugs to her and glad all went well.
Just some leftovers for supper, and then we watched the connected shows on NBC. Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Law & Order SVU. They were okay, Orrin likes those shows.
Then we discovered that the distiller and air cleaners we'd ordered were sitting in the old garage by the garbage pails! We'd understood that we would have to sign for that delivery. We're not even sure when they were dropped off, and why in the world they left them there. It could have been on Monday, when we were on the way home. Thankfully we noticed them. Strange.
Have a great evening and a wonderful tomorrow!
Hugs, Orrin, Linda and Teddy
Peter,
filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: "Rulers and elders of the
people! If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness
shown to a cripple and are asked how he was healed, then know this, you
and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of
Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that
this man stands before you healed. He is 'the stone you builders
rejected, which has become the capstone.' Salvation is found in no one
else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we
must be saved."

We are counting down to the last days of April. This month sure did fly by, starting warm, then cold, now warmer again. Still pretty chilly with the wind though.
We are happy to be back home. We got here about 8 last night. The trip home was pretty uneventful. We had such a good time in WI. Friday was grandparent's day, so that was a busy one. I think I posted about that. I'll add some pictures tonight.
Saturday we walked around town checking out the rummage sales. I bought a pair of mitts, as it was chilly! Then Orrin said his hand was cold (the one with the cane) so I shared. LOL. 25 cents, not a bad deal. It was a good walk, not much interesting to buy though. Micah got a couple of t-shirts, The Incredibles and Spider Man (I think), and then he found a Spider Man car to play with.
The Wrights were at grandparent's day and then after, Justin loaded up his stuff to go with them to Nebraska, for his cousin's confirmation. We did have time for some visiting before they left.
Sunday was confirmation at Maribel, and Dan had some confirmand's to visit for lunch, so he was gone for some of the afternoon. We got some hearts played and also a few games of Quirkel. Zach saw Dan and Tosha shuffling the cards, and was determined to learn how to do it. I'm not sure what it's called, I can do the first step, but never mastered the second. Wendy does it, too. Anyway, Z did get it mastered before we left! He can be very determined. :)
This morning I went into town to pick up the mail and some parts for Orrin. Then I drove out to pick up Teddy. That dog has been smiling all day! And yes, he does smile. I guess he didn't eat for the first couple of days. It's the first time he's stayed there, our regular lady was gone for the weekend. He did survive it, though.
I got my Garmin vivofit in the mail. I've got it set up, sorry to say, I don't have very many steps on it today. Tomorrow, I'll do better. I'm curious to see how it monitors my sleep.
And that's about it. I'll put a couple of pictures up, maybe more tomorrow.
Hugs, Orrin, Linda and Teddy
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

Good evening! Dan was good enough to lend me his bluetooth keyboard so I could post here. We dropped Ted off at a new place, because Vicki was gone this weekend. He looked so forlorn when we did, but it looked like a nice situation, so he'll be fine. Then we drove to Jeremy and Laura's for the night. I brought Maria an Elsa dress and she was over the moon! I forgot to take her picture, though.
We had a good trip over yesterday, and got here about 3. We met Tosha, Micah and Justin in Manitowac and had a HUGE supper at the 4 seasons. Micah had sooo much to tell us. He just goes and goes until all of a sudden he wears down! He's so much fun to watch.
This morning Orrin and I had to entertain ourselves for a few hours while everyone else went about their business. At noon we went over to the school for grandparent's day. We met Beth and Steve Wright there and were able to get a nice visit in with them. The school children entertained with music and skits. They really did a good job. Then Zach decorated t-shirts for his 4 grandparents. I have pictures, but don't know how to get them transferred with the tablet, so will have to share when we get home.
At 6, there was a magician who gave a show at the school. He was really pretty good. Micah was enthralled! The crowd was a little smaller than in the afternoon, but pretty good still. And after the show, he made balloon animals for the kids.
When we got back to the house, it was time for a bible story with Micah. He barely made it through, his eyes were shut by the prayer at the end. He was just worn out.
Justin and the Wrights left around 5, he was going with them to Nebraska for a confirmation. We were glad to get a bit of visiting with him before they left.
And that's the news from Lake area Wisconsin!

Good morning. I'm sorry if my posts are a bit erratic, just keep checking! We are leaving for a long weekend this afternoon. We're heading east to WI to see that branch of the family. :) We should be back next Monday evening, or Tuesday morning.
I had a bit of a panic the other day, as our regular go-to lady wasn't going to be home to leave Teddy with. I posted on the Canby Rummage Facebook page and had another person lined up in no time. Hopefully, he'll be fine with it.
I did some cleaning up yesterday, and a few more loads of clothes. We (well, me) had to watch Dancing With the Stars from Monday night after the NCIS ones, so it got a little late. Patti LaBelle was eliminated, and I was astounded when Orrin asked what she did?!!
Now I have a few more cards to finish, and I've wrapped some gifts to bring along, plus I have to pack, so I'm ready by 3, which is when Orrin wants to leave. We'll go to Jer's tonight and then leave early tomorrow for WI. Orrin decided to go through Rochester to avoid the traffic in the Twin Cities. That's fine by me, I hate going through that mess, and with construction it will probably be worse.
I did have to make a few arrangements for the GPLHS Auxiliary meeting, which is May 2nd.
And that's about all the news! I'm not sure if I'll be posting this week or not, I'm just taking my tablet. If I do, it will be short ones. I'll take lots of pictures to share when we get back. It's Zach's grandparent's day on Friday. And we have to miss Nate's play in Fairfax, because it's the same day. :(
Well, that's all folks, have a great rest of the day!!

Good evening! Looks like I just kind of skipped out this weekend. Mainly, it just was not a very eventful weekend. Saturday I just did some more laundry and then read a book.
Yesterday we were up and got ready for early service. Except when Orrin went to take a shower (I had one the night before) there was no water! So he had to get dressed and go out and check the well. The pump was stuck, so he was able to get it going again and get his shower, and we made it to church in time! We went to bible study, and then for lunch at the Wheel Inn. Marlin and his nephew were there, so we sat with them, and had a nice visit. I had one blueberry pancake, and it hung off the plate, it was so big! Full of lots of juicy blueberries, it was very good!
Next stop was Menard's to get, you guessed it, a new pump! Orrin decided we should have a dehumidifier for the basement, so got that too. Then we headed home. I spent the afternoon making some cards. A couple were overdue. I started another one, but had run out of ideas, so will finish that this week.
This morning I got some of those cards sent off, and then started moving my winter clothes upstairs and my summer things downstairs. I should have had Cori help me when she was here! I think I need to get rid of some of those clothes! I did set several tops aside to switch them to everyday. But it's hard to choose some to take to GSI, I'll put one to the side and think, no I kind of like that one. Grrr.
Tonight we had our CRS club, we hadn't met since October. It sure was nice to see everyone and get caught up on all the news. Some had a rough winter, none of us are that spry anymore. I'm the youngster in the group, so you can imagine.
And that's as exciting as it got. Hugs, and have a great tomorrow!

Another beautiful day, almost hot! And just a mild wind. Ted and I took our walk a little later this afternoon, and decided to head north. I did see a couple of ducks in the ditch water, and was going to take a picture, but Ted decided to chase them off. :( There was water in those ditches, not sure where that was coming from.
Orrin did find out who the Case IH belonged to. A customer and friend had dropped it off this winter, but we didn't know who it belonged to or why it was there. Apparently he had forgotten about it, too, until his son asked about it this spring. So he was over yesterday to claim it. I think Orrin said he had it fixed already. Mystery solved.
Not much else to report. Things are finally greening up. Now if we would get the promised rain for the weekend, it would be great!
I finally dealt with the ant hills on the patio. I remembered that mom used to pour boiling water on them, so that's what I did. It took about 5 kettles of water, there were a lot of them! We'll have to look for something this weekend, maybe at Menard's, for ants.
That's all for tonight, sleep tight! Orrin, Linda and Teddy
We rejoice in the hope of the glory of God… And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

Another quiet day in the country. Sort of. Orrin had run out of clean work clothes, so I went down and started some laundry. Whew! I didn't realize it had been so long since I'd done any. I think it's been over 2 weeks! So that's where a good part of my day has been spent. And tomorrow as well, I'm sure.
Teddy and I did take a walk this morning. He found a dead squirrel on the side of the road, so it was a bit hard to keep him going. He kept pulling to go back to it. On the way back, I often take off the leash so he can run back to the house. Bad idea. . . he ran back to the squirrel instead! Silly dog! I had planned to take another short walk this afternoon, but didn't get to it.
My tulips are coming up, guess I'd better spend some time out there cleaning off the flower beds. The spring goes by so fast, and it's so nice now it would be a perfect time for it. It was over 70 today and wonder of wonders, no wind! No rain either, but there is supposed to be some coming.
Getting back to the walking thing, I ordered a Garmin vivofit from Amazon today, it was their deal of the day, and I'd been looking at that. Cori has that model, and Wendy has a similar thing. I was interested in the sleep monitor part of it. It also said that it monitors steps taken, and if you don't move, it tells you to move! It also will sort of challenge you to increase your steps. We'll see how it works. You're supposed to be able to get it wet, even take a shower with it on. Don't think I'll be doing that.
Orrin had a service call this afternoon. Someone stopped and was looking for him. I wasn't able to help him (I don't know if I even have a key to the shop) so I called him on his cell. Surprise!! A lady answered. He had left his phone on the tractor he had looked at on the service call! The gentleman said he would bring it over in the morning.
And that's about as exciting as it got today.
Good night, Orrin, Linda and Teddy

That dreaded day, April 15th!! Hope you all made it through without much anguish. LOL
Guess what? It blew today. A lot. Almost to the point of being depressing. No, it was to that point. Maybe it will blow up some moisture tomorrow.
I was up early to get my shower and make it to Watertown for bible study. I had missed it last time, and I really do enjoy it, so was happy to be there. It's a nice group of ladies, a mix of young and a few oldies, and a wonderful time of fellowship. I was going to take a picture, and so was Heather, for the church book, but she forgot and so did I!
I stopped at Office Max to send a box via FedEx. One more box out of the house, kids!! They are closing the end of the month, I'll miss them. I don't know where there would be another FedEx site after that.
Then, of course, it's Wednesday, senior day at HyVee!! So I made a stop there for some fresh fruit and veggies. After that, a drive through at Culvers and then home in time for lunch. Well, for Orrin's lunch, I got a snack pack at Culvers! FOD - Red raspberry.
Nothing much after that. I really need to start posting this earlier. Otherwise, I sit down for a little TV, fall asleep and then wake up at this time and think, oh, I'd better post!
Hope to have a more productive day tomorrow.
A co-worker of mine from EMPI passed away after a fight with cancer, she will be missed. A very quiet lady, but a very sweet lady. She could always make me smile.
Sleep well, Hugs, Orrin, Linda and Teddy

Hi from windy MN. It wasn't quite as bad today and the sun was out. Sure hope this wind thing settles down, a nice rain would be wonderful.
Cori and Josh are across the road from a bad fire up in Bismarck. It was near the University of Mary and they evacuated students and some people living there. It hadn't jumped across the road so praying for them that it doesn't. It had been contained and then had reignited this afternoon. The heat and wind make it prime conditions for fire. I don't think that possibility is gone yet, so will be thinking of them. Cori said she had their bags packed.
I forgot to mention (and should have taken a picture) that on Sunday when I was in WalMart in the pet food aisle, I noticed when the lady next to me turned around, that there was a little head poking out of her bag! She had a Yorkie in there! And he was so good, didn't say peep. She said he weighed about 5#. Cute, cute. But the greeter must have missed it, I don't think they would have wanted it in the store.
Also, the Branches Band have a website - www.branchesband.com They could play a large assortment of instruments. He played the 12 string and the 6 string guitar, a harmonica, and at one point he whistled! You sure don't hear that much anymore. If they come to your area, try to see them, it's well worth it.
The Health and Wellness guy stopped in this afternoon, we learned some more important things. Never too old, I guess. He was a nice fellow, not high pressure at all. He lives in Detroit Lakes, and shared some stories of time there, as that is where we used to go for our week at the lake.
I'm trying to get through Dancing With the Stars from Monday. We had DVR'd that, and Orrin doesn't really care if he watches it. He will if we're home when it's on. I'm only half way through, it's Disney week and quite entertaining.
Well, that's all from here, have a great evening, what's left of it. I have bible study in the morning, should be home by lunch.
Hugs, Orrin, Linda and Teddy

Late Monday night! I had to go into town this afternoon, hadn't been to the library in a long time and had some books to go back. Our next book club pick is a mystery anthology organized by David Baldacci, and I hadn't picked that up yet, either.
After I got home we made plans to go for supper before the concert with Krause's. Orrin was a little later than usual coming in so I finally called him to see if there was a problem. So we hussled and got ready to go to their house and ride with them to the church. We dropped Kathy off for a GSI meeting and Terry, Orrin and I went to the 4 seasons Buffet, a Chinese restaurant. We hadn't been there before, it was excellent!
Branches Band was giving a concert at church. This consists of a husband and wife team, very talented. They gave a concert of Christian music, some familiar hymns, some original music. They are graduates of WLC and live in Milwaukee, but travel around the country in their music ministry. They had given a concert in the morning at GPL and then in the afternoon at St. Martin's school. We were a bit disappointed that there weren't more people there, but it was a fair amount.
We were surprised to see Al Jeffers there, we didn't realize that he had been teaching at GPL, an emergency situation filling in for the science teacher. He'll be there for the rest of the school year, probably. We all stopped at Culver's for some custard, Al and Rose Draeger, Al Jeffers, Terry and Kathy and us. Both of the Al's were classmates of Wayne, so shared a few pictures and some memories.
Now we are both tired and ready to call it a day. So good night. :)

Which is posted on Monday morning, April 13. We got home late and then had to watch the DVR'd end of the Master's, by which time I was just too sleepy to post. This is to your benefit, it might actually make some sense, whereas last night I could not have guaranteed that.
Saturday was missed too, mainly because it was a dull day. My main accomplishment was reading a book! So we'll just skip over that. Oh, we did watch day 3 of the Masters.
Sunday morning was early service and bible study. GPL was having a waffle feed, so that made our decision of "where do we eat today" much easier! They served a very delicious breakfast. Kathy and Terry invited us to a "Health and Wellness" supper and seminar for the evening. We went home and, you guessed it, watched some of the final day of the Master's. Since we had to leave for the seminar, we DVR'd the finish.
We picked up the Krause's and headed to the event center in Watertown for the seminar. We really learned a lot, and will hopefully learn more as we invited the gentleman to our house this week to test some things and get more knowledgeable. Several other friends were there, so visited just a bit after.
Then we came home to watch the rest of the Master's. There was a remarkable young man that won it and broke many records in the process. A very polite 21 year old that will bring some class back to the game of golf. He is one to be watched. His name is Jordan Speith from Texas.
And that's it for now, will be back later tonight.

Today we said goodbye (for now) to Cori, Isaiah and Riley Jane. We were awake early and suddenly heard a thump from upstairs, and then a little voice crying! Yep, Riley fell off the bed. Nothing serious though, she was fine after a bit.
I made pancakes one last time for them, and then Orrin helped Cori load up her car. They left about 9, and we heard from Cori that they made it to Bismarck around 3. Josh and the dogs were super happy to have them back!
All of a sudden it was super quiet here. :( We sure enjoyed their visit, we'll see them again Memorial Day weekend for Riley's birthday.
After they left, I got ready to head to Watertown. It was the Anita Gooddesign workshop day at Needleworks. I totally forgot about it last month, and was determined not to miss it this month! I enjoyed it, and am slowly getting to know the ladies that attend it. Now if I could just remember names! That is not a new manifestation, I've never been good with names. I made a date with Mark to get a refresher session with my embroidery machine. I'm anxious to actually make use of all the designs I've accumulated.
I had a few errands to take care of, and did them mainly before the workshop. Office Max is closing in Watertown, and I had to pick up a few things there. They are slowly emptying out the store. We'll miss it, but apparently they didn't have enough business to keep it open.
Teddy was happy to have things back to normal. He was jealous of the little ones! Whenever we would hold one of them, he would get in our face for a little Teddy attention! What a baby.
Now things are quiet again, Orrin is sleeping in front of the TV. And that's all she wrote. . . .
Hugs, Orrin, Linda and Teddy
"But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in mercy and faithfulness. Turn to me and have mercy on me; give your strength to your servant and grant salvation to the son of your maidservant. Perform for me a sign of [your] goodness, so those who hate me will see it and be put to shame, for you, LORD, have helped me and comforted me."

Good Morning! I am sorry about the lack of posting for the past few days, it's been an eventful week.
Monday I said goodbye to my sister, Jane. The service was at Trinity in Johnson, and Phil, her grandson gave the sermon. He did an excellent job. So many friends, neighbors, and relatives were there to say goodbye, it was just overwhelming. All of Jane's family, except for the Canadian group and David Rosenow were able to make it. Most of our's also were able to be there. Kathy said her and her sister decided to call them fun-erals instead of funerals, since so much reminiscing and visiting are involved. Orrin and I had driven up Sunday afternoon to see the girls (Jane's daughters)and Eugene and help go through pictures, etc. I think it will take a while for this all to sink in for me. I miss her so much already. But she is in glory now, all the pain and suffering is over, and she is singing in God's chorus. There were so many people that had driven a long ways to be there, and that is so much appreciated.
After the service and all the visiting, we followed Dan and family to Morris. They were staying at the Prairie Inn. So Al and family, and Wendy and boys, Cori and her kiddoes, plus us had a great visit. We seldom are all together, so it was so special. Lisa had just returned from Germany, so we heard a little about that. Time went by too fast, then time for real life to return and we headed back home. Wendy and Cori spent the night, so the boys had a chance to play (wrestle) a bit. Dogpile!!
And a little uncle time too. Since Cori moved to Bismark, these guys don't see as much of each other. They all went out to see Opa's shop and the cute little tractor there.
Wendy had to leave Tuesday morning for home, Eli had baseball! They made it in time. I went over to pick up Teddy, and it was pea soup fog in SD. I could barely see the hood of my car! Wendy said she ran out of it by Brookings, but we had very little at home. Then Cori and I went to Monte for some hair and nail therapy. :) Very much needed. Went a little lighter this time.
We picked up Chinese while we were there, so enjoyed that supper!! Wednesday Orrin and I had to go in for our taxes. That is done (except the check being sent, :( ) for another year. And last night we decided to go into Canby to see the new theater. We went to Fast and Furious 7. Hmmm. Not my choice normally, but it actually wasn't too bad. Lots of noise (they could have turned the volume down) but no bad language and no sex scenes. Riley even fell asleep. Isaiah thought it was super. Orrin stayed awake so that's a review of sorts. The theater looks great! It's so nice to have that in town again. The city bought it and through donations, grants and lots of volunteer labor have restored it, including the outside marquee.
Brother/sisterly love there. We are just enjoying the heck out of having these guys here. Cori was able to stay until tomorrow. Thank you Josh, for sharing them. :)
Well, they are waiting for their breakfast (I made pancakes) so I'd better go get that done.
It has been such an eventful week, I'll hang on to those memories for some time. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
Love, Orrin, Linda, Cori, Isaiah, Riley and Teddy.
"God, I pray that the roots of my being be firmly and deeply planted in You. You are able to do far above and beyond anything that I can ever dare to hope, ask, or even think. So, no matter what my circumstances may be, no matter how desperate it may seem, I refused to give up hope. You can change hearts, heal a sick body, rekindle a marriage, and restore finances. You can feed five thousand people with a little boy's lunch, walk on water and read men's hearts. No matter how bad things may look, I know things will change for the better. If I do what I can do, Lord, I know You will do what I cannot do. The enemy cannot defeat me because I refuse to stop hoping in You. Lord, You can take my mess and turn it into a miracle. You can work it all out for my good. All things are possible with You. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Good evening! This will be short, and I may not post as often for the next few days. We're planning on meeting the Fuhrman group for Easter lunch tomorrow in Big Stone City. Sometime during the afternoon Cori and the two little kiddoes will be coming. Later in the evening, Wendy and the boys will be here as well.
Dan called a bit ago and they'll be coming as well. They're staying in the twin cities tomorrow night and then will be at the funeral on Monday. They'll spend the night and then head back home on Tuesday. Wendy will be leaving Tuesday as well, to head back home. So it will be a busy few days.
Al and Lisa will also be at the funeral and hopefully will be able to do some visiting as well.
I've been doing a lot of organizing, especially cleaning up the dining room and getting my cardmaking supplies in order. Orrin put together the media shelves for me, so all my stamps now have a home, not just a box. :) Now I need to make better use of them.
My back hurts and my eyes are tired! God bless you all, and a very blessed Easter for everyone!!
Hugs, Orrin, Linda and Teddy
By His wounds we are healed.

Maunday Thursday, April 2, 2015
I have a heaviness in my heart as I write this post. We lost Jane this week, she is in heaven now, having the best Easter ever!! She had a long battle and much pain, and though she had been making progress, she developed another infection and it was just too much for her frail body.
I am going to paste Leah's post, and share it here, because she said it so well.
This is not a very fun picture. This is suffering. There is little, if any, dignity. Suffering sucks. Really and truly, plain and simple.
But I know my Grandmother took to heart some words of Scripture that she was blessed to learn from infancy on. Romans 8:18, "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us."
I'm hoping that Lisa made it back to the US safely, Al and the boys were going to pick her up today.
Wendy called to say that Jeremy, Laura and Maria surprised them today by showing up in RC!! What fun for them all, I know they don't get out there that often, so glad that they could.
Jane's funeral is Monday, and we're expecting some family to be coming here for that, so I'm working on getting things shipshape (somewhat).
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, I will try to get some pictures to share.
Love, Orrin, Linda and Teddy
PS Happy Birthday, Kathy! I can't believe we sat next to you in church tonight, and I forgot all about telling you that! Hope you had a good party at Dave and Rosie's. Hugs
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. John 11:25-26

But I know my Grandmother took to heart some words of Scripture that she was blessed to learn from infancy on. Romans 8:18, "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us."
And now, after fifteen months of suffering, literally feeling, every
day, like she had been hit by a truck, my Grandma is in Heaven. We take
comfort in God's Word from 1 Corinthians 15 (which quotes Isaiah and
Hosea), "Death has been swallowed up in victory." "Where, O death, is
your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" "But thanks be to God! He
gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
The Lord blessed my Grandma with a husband of nearly 59 years. Grandpa suffered right along with Grandma, standing by her side in sickness. How amazing is the love that he showed her because of what Jesus did for us. My prayers continue for him.
The Lord blessed my Grandma with three loving daughters, one of which is my mother. My mother's faithfulness to her mother is incredible. She served Jesus by serving Grandma. My prayers continue for her and her sisters.
Grandma stood firm in Jesus. My family was so blessed to be able to celebrate Palm Sunday with her in her home congregation. And now she's getting ready to celebrate Easter in Heaven.
I know that my Redeemer lives!
It's been a long journey for her and her family, but what a reward at the end of that journey!! God be with you all.
It's been terribly windy here for the last few days, and since it's so very dry there is a huge chance of fire. There was a large fire east of Clear Lake the other day, and Orrin's heard of others as well. It was up to the 80's yesterday, but we didn't go walking, because it was just too windy. Here are a couple of pictures from Monday when we did get out.
Ted really doesn't care about the wind, but then he's closer to the ground! I think it was Monday, the days have kind of run together this week.
And here's what was at the shop when we got back. Isn't that just the cutest thing? I asked Orrin if we could keep it, and he said if I had around $30K we could. Guess not. But it would just be my size. LOL

I finally got a picture of a robin this morning. I've seen a few other ones, but they never stayed still long enough to get a picture.
So there is proof that they have finally returned!! There was more of a chill in the air today, but we know that spring is finally on the way!I'm hoping that Lisa made it back to the US safely, Al and the boys were going to pick her up today.
